the project aimed at finding innovative solutions for combating the food wastage in the restaurant and hotel industries. working as a team, the concept of an autonomous inventory management(aim) system – a kind of ‘intelligent’ container was developed. this smart container would not only maximize the freshness and quality of items, but it would also track the quantity, temperature, humidity and gasses emitted (if any) while the products were stored. thus it would gauge the usability of the stored food and also send alerts to maximize its utility. being connected to an app would further enable the food quality to be checked from any location and would allow remote tracking of usage, quality, ordering etc. the project was a team effort. i assisted with concept creation, logo design and visual communication of the final product.
